MacPoint

What it is

MacPoint is an MCP server for Microsoft PowerPoint on macOS. An agent can open a deck, add slides, fill placeholders, write speaker notes, and save, from Cursor, Claude, or any other client that speaks the Model Context Protocol.

AppleScript drives the PowerPoint app. python-pptx edits the file on disk when the app can stay closed. The tool names follow a Windows PowerPoint MCP server, so one set of agent instructions can target both. The license is MIT.

It needs macOS, Microsoft PowerPoint for Mac, and Python 3.10 or newer. The first launch asks macOS for Automation permission so the client can control PowerPoint.
