The poster compares heat pump water heater payback for a ResStock sample of North Carolina homes under three policy settings: no support, the Home Electrification and Appliance Rebates still operating, and the Inflation Reduction Act mix of those rebates plus the 25C tax credit. The 25C credit has ended. The poster shows how that change lengthens payback relative to the credit the law originally paired with the rebates.
